FAQ

What is your policy on Privacy?

Common sense - we safeguard your information and use only what we need to accomplish your goals. See our Privacy Policy.

I live in [any state], can still I use your services?

Yes! :)
You’ll receive the same attention that our other clients do, although we may communicate via video/phone conference instead of personal meetings. And, you’ll be able to view your web site’s progress online - any time.

How much will this cost?

The best way to estimate the cost is to develop a scope of work, which is part of our needs assessment process. Some factors that influence cost are:

  • Size - How many pages will your site require?
  • Graphics - Will you supply the images, or do they need to be created?
  • Content - Do you require assistance with website content?
  • Media - Will media (video, audio, moving text or graphics) be incorporated in the design?
  • Launch date - Will you require an accelerated schedule?

There are other factors we’ll discuss in our initial consultation. With proper planning, your website budget will be realistic.

How does the billing process work?

A deposit is collected after the agreement is signed and you will be billed according to our design agreement payment schedule.

How long does it take to have a web site designed?

The schedule is determined by the size of your web site, complexity of the design, and our current design workload.

How do I update my website?

Easy! Just send us an email with the changes attached. We can also design a “dynamic” website that you can update yourself.

What is web hosting?

This is where your website “lives” on the web. Usually, you pay a monthly fee to host your site. We typically include one year of web hosting in our design fee for new clients.

Can I choose you to design my site and use my own web hosting?

Yes, we realize there could be some circumstances where this would make sense, however we strongly encourage most clients to use our hosting service instead. Our hosting is rock-solid. Period.

My site is hosted with someone else - but I’d like to switch over to you. How do I do this?

Just let us know and we’ll take care of everything. We can transfer your domain name along with all of your existing web site content.

I want you to design my web site. Now what?

You are wise beyond your years - Thank you! :)

What domain name should I choose?

If you are going to be giving it to people over the phone, choose one that is easy to say and spell out loud. It should also have something to do with your business name. You may wish to incorporate “keywords” to boost search engine ratings. We have resources to help you make the right decision.
